William "Bill" Jerome Picard

It is with profound sadness that the family of William (Bill) Jerome Picard announce his passing. He went home to be with the Lord on June 17th, 2026 at the age of 90. Bill always had a passion for creating. Whether with a Dremel, a welder, wood burner, paintbrush or hammer. He made many beautiful things that brought so much joy to his family and friends. He spent much of his time outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping and cruising on his dune buggies. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Nancy and his children, Jacqueline, Jay and Bob (Julia). He is fondly remembered by grandchildren, Kathleen (Kyle), Heather (Michael), Morgan, Abbey (Blaine), Megg and Jake and by his great grandchild Bennett. Bill’s memory will live on in his family who will miss him very much but are so deeply thankful for the impact he had on their lives. 

Visitation & Memorial Service

Friends are invited to call at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209 on Thursday evening, June 25, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday morning, June 26, 2026 at 11 o'clock. (Visitation one hour prior). As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
