William "Bill" Ferrier

It is with sadness that we announce that Bill passed away unexpectedly at his home in Haliburton on December 11th, 2024. Bill is survived by his wife, Karen. Bill was born in Toronto, the son of Bill and Wilma Ferrier (both predeceased.) Dear brother to Craig (predeceased), Lynn (Glen), Steve (Jamie, predeceased), and Lisa (Mark, predeceased.) Brother-in-law to Richard (Sandra) and Sue. Bill was a beloved father to Summer, and grandfather to Dessa and Saskia. Bill will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews; Pat, Eliza, Josh, Jer, Justin, Ethan, Pat, and Andrew.

Bill, a true fan of the Man Cave loved working on cars and mechanical projects. Bill was a member of the Local 30 Sheet Metal Union as a journeyman and he was skilled in other self-taught trades. Bill was content puttering in the garage on his own and enjoyed when company stopped in for a beverage or two. Bill had an infectious laugh and quick with a smile and was known to be humorous. Bill was kindhearted and generous with those he loved. Bill will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Celebration of Life

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bill's Celebration of life has been postponed to a later date. Further details will be announced when available. A private interment will be held at Fife cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
