At her residence on Thursday evening, January 2, 2025, in her 69th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Gordon Scheffee. Loving mother of Jessica, and Elisa. Loving sister of Malcolm, Lois, Bonnie, Cheryl, Diane, and Cathy. She is fondly remembered by her many grandchildren Jaylah, Camryn, Noah, Alexa, Luca, Jaxon, Hudson, Victoria, Dalton, and Tristan. Predeceased by her parents Aubrey & Hazel Maxwell. Sue is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sue was a Registered Practical Nurse in the Community for many years. She enjoyed fishing, boating, snowmobiling, music, and most of all, her grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209 on Saturday afternoon, January 11, 2025, for a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. (Visitation one prior). Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #129. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
