Passed away gently at Haliburton Hospital on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the graceful age of 92. Cherished mother to Donald, Kenneth (Grace), Kevin, Michael (Evonne), and Steven (Jane). Adored Grandmother to Mark, Catherine, Mathew, Daniel, Alissa, and Jacob. Beloved sister to Stewart (predeceased), Joan (Jim), Donald, Hazel (Charles Oliver, predeceased), Dale, and Cathy.
Jean, a radiant spirit born in the Miners Bay area, spent her life nurturing her family and tending to her beloved home. A passionate gardener, she found joy in the blossoms that adorned her surroundings and delighted in the visits from deer, birds, and other woodland creatures. After dedicating her years to her family, she embraced a new chapter, returning to school to become a PSW, and devoted many years to serving through the Red Cross and at the Case Manor of Bobcaygeon.
