Rodney "Rod" Roberts

Peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Haliburton Hospital on Monday, July 7th, 2025, in his 71st year.

Beloved husband of Pamela Marlene Roberts (nee Schell). Loving father of Vanessa Marlene Roberts (Jonny Brouwer) and Logan Stanley Roberts (Dr. Meghan Goodrow). Predeceased by his Mother Irene Roberts (nee Bain), Father Stan Roberts.

His absence will be deeply felt by his grandchildren: Charlotte and Tommy Brouwer, and Brinton and McKye Roberts. Dearly missed by his sister, Maxine Magee (nee Roberts) and her husband Wim, as well as his brother Cleve Roberts and his Wife Liane (nee Whitfield).

Rod was predeceased by his Mother-in-law, Ruth Schell (nee Curry), and Father-in-law, Leslie Schell. He will be fondly remembered by his Brother-in-law, Luke Schell, and his Wife, Shelley (nee Thomson). His memory will be cherished by his many fabulous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his many friends. 

Visitation & Celebration of Life

Friends and family are invited to call at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 13523 Hwy. #118 Haliburton, Ontario K0M 1S0 on Thursday, July 17, 2025, for a Celebration of Rod’s life beginning at 1:00 (Visitation 2 hours prior.) As an expression of sympathy, donations in Rod’s memory can be made to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation.
