Bill was born and raised in Coboconk and spent his early years working with his father in the family business. Responding to God’s calling, Bill was ordained as a Pentecostal minister. For over 60 years he served faithfully, impacting hundreds of lives, in roles as a pastor, teacher / academic dean, writer / editor, international keynote speaker, and mentor. He held a number of executive and leadership positions at the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada National Office for more than 40 years. Bill was an avid theological scholar and obtained his Doctor of Ministry Ph.D. in 2011. Apart from his ministerial work, Bill was also an exceptional hockey player. His achievements on the ice were a source of pride and excitement for the Coboconk community. In the fall of 2022, he will be formally inducted into the Lindsay and District Sports Hall of Fame. Bill loved to travel, spend time at his cottage in Coboconk with his family, and to cheer on his grandchildren in sports and other activities. He cherished his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
