Reg passed away surrounded by his family on May 27, 2026.  Predeceased by his parents and his brother Randy.

Reg was loved and will always be missed by his partner in life of 49 years, Rosemary Lewis, his son Cory (Meg), grandson Clark, sisters Chris (Norm) and Kelly (Ron), nieces Jenny (Dave) and Kimberly (Patrick), nephew Jason (Christina), and 3 great nephews Tom, Nicholas, and Walker.

Reg grew up on Haliburton Lake, and we will always remember him skiing in South Bay with a big smile on his face and making it look so effortless.  He had a good heart and a gentle soul.

His family would like to recognize Dr. Gilmour and the staff in the Haliburton ER, including the Paramedics, for taking good care of Reg during his increasingly harder struggles with COPD over the last few years. Thank you for being so kind to us as we said our goodbyes to him.

Private Funeral Arrangements

A private Celebration of Reg’s life will be held by the family at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Reg’s memory can be made to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation.
