Peacefully at her residence in Norland, Ontario on Monday afternoon, September 13, 2021 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Walter McHale. Loving mother of Stephen (Sue), Anne Louise (Dave Truax) and Ernest (Betty). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Patrick, Kellie, Adam, Drew, Jennilin, Liam, Matt and by her great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Della, Barbara and Sandra (Miles). Predeceased by her daughter Janice (Scott), her brothers Jack, Frank and by her sister Helen. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a tax collector for Galway, Harvey Cavendish for many years and was a member of Hope United Church and the Women's Institute in Norland. She enjoyed knitting, leather work, flowers, ball games, hockey and most of all, she enjoyed the company of people.
The Remembrance Gathering
A Remembrance Gathering will take place at HOPE UNITED CHURCH 7531 Hwy. #35 on Saturday afternoon, September 18, 2021 from 12 (Noon) - 4 p.m. Masks and Social Distancing of 2M is required. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Hope United Church would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35, Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913.
