Peter Stephan

Peacefully promoted to God's Great Forest in Heaven on Sunday May 9, 2021 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Christel Stephan (nee Barkowsky). Loving father of Susan (Mark) & Sylvia (Kevin). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sarah (George), Krista (Sam), Mathew, Britney  and great grandchildren Charlotte, Madelyn, Gabriel, Zayn, Moody, Genan and Omar. Dear brother of Hubert.  Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Peter worked as a Forester in Germany before emigrating to Canada in 1954. He worked in the Sheet Metal Industry for many years in Canada. He loved to read,  the outdoors, good food especially his wife's cheesecake and most of all he loved his family. 

Private Celebration Of Life

A Private Celebration of Peter's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation or charity of your choice if desired. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
