Paul Gordon Madill

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Gordon Madill, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 62. 

Paul was born on July 19, 1963, in Kenora, Ontario. He will be remembered for his caring nature, his inside jokes, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with family and friends throughout his life.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his spouse, Theresa Marie Osmond; his step-son, Bradley; and Theresa's children, Kim (Layn) and Cole (Maddi). He was the beloved son of Robert Edward and Ruth Madill, and a cherished brother to Cindy (Tom) and Keith (Darlene). Paul will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives he touched. 

Paul dedicated 33 years of his career to Hendrickson, where he was respected for his hard work, reliability, and commitment. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built over the years with coworkers and friends.

Outside of work, Paul found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Whether he was hunting in the woods or fishing on a quiet lake, he was happiest surrounded by nature. Those who knew him will remember his love of the outdoors, the stories he shared, and the peace and contentment he found while hunting and fishing.

Visitation & Burial

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) - 1 o'Clock at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 13523 Hwy. #118 Haliburton, ON K0M 1S0 (705) 457-9209. A burial will follow at the GOODERHAM CEMETERY, 11006 County Road 503, Gooderham, Ontario K0M 1R0. A Celebration of Life will take place in Stratford in July.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Paul's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
