Patrick Russell

Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday morning, December 15, 2024 in his 78th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen Russell for over 52 years. Dear brother of Don  (Nancy). Much loved brother-in-law of Gordon (Peggy) and sister-in-laws of Marilyn and  Kathy (Roger). Predeceased by his parents Howard & Frances Russell, his sister Mary Ellen, and by his brother-in-law Gerald. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, his great nieces and great nephews. Pat worked for the City of Kawartha Lakes as an Area 4 Manager for many years. He was an avid ball player and a coach & was also involved in hockey. Pat is best known for his involvement in the Community with Minor Ball, Hockey and many organizations in Hockey. He sat on the former Township of Bexley's Parks and Recreation Committee and was instrumental in establishing the Legion Ball Park in Coboconk. He enjoyed wood cutting at Grass Creek, eating egg salad sandwiches by the river and feeding his many friends.

 Visitation & Funeral Service

Friends are invited to call at FAITH TABERNACLE 6 Albert St. Coboconk, Ontario on Thursday afternoon, December 19, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow on Friday morning, December 20, 2024 at 11 o'clock. (Visitation one hour prior). Interment St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery north of Victoria Road. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Faith Tabernacle,  Ronald McDonald House or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35 Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913.
