Patricia "Pat" Eileen Morrison (nee Bain)

It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Patricia Eileen Morrison announces her passing on Thursday evening, August 20, 2026 at the age of 78 surrounded by loved ones.

Patricia will be remembered for the warmth she shared so generously, the care she offered to those around her, and the quiet strength that guided her life.

A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Patricia is survived by her husband of 58 years, Patrick Morrison and by her children Angela (Randy), Colin (Shauna) and predeceased by baby Mark. Patricia was a fiercely proud and loving grandma to Connor (Sierra), Adam (Krista), Nathan and Josie and great-grandma to Gunner and Patrick. 

Patricia is survived by her siblings Rick Bain (Joyce) and Wanda Reynolds. Predeceased by her brother Gerald Bain and her brother-in-law Jim Reynolds. Patricia is lovingly remembered by her many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Daughter of Clarence and Ruth Bain, Patricia was born in Haliburton and began her working career at Bell Canada. Once moving back to Haliburton with her family, she was a dedicated stay-at-home Mom until her children were grown. She then spent many happy years working at the West Guilford Shopping Centre until her retirement.

Private Graveside Service

As per Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Haliburton. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Extendicare - Proud Pioneers would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
