On July 3, 2026, we lost a beloved wife, mother, Nana, and Great-Nana "D", Norma Dunnett (1932–2026).
Norma was married to the love of her life, Jim. Together they moved to Head Lake, where her family had camped since 1925, and built a cottage and spent summers there from 1935. There, Jim and Norma purchased and operated the Head Lake General Store, becoming well-known members of the community.
A lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 519, Norma dedicated countless hours of service to the Legion. She proudly served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President, and for many years organized the Santa Claus Parade and Veterans' dinners.
Norma cherished her life at Head Lake, where she found joy in spending time with her family, tending her beautiful gardens, and caring for her beloved cats.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
