Michael Yateman

Peacefully at his residence in West Guilford on Friday evening, July 17, 2020 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of J’Nan Yateman (nee Sisson).   Cherished father of Curtis (Sherry) and Derek. Proud Grandpa of Eric and Ethan.  Loving brother of Jackie (Keith) and Shayne (Amy). Predeceased by his parents,  Joan and Charles Yateman and his big brother Lorne.  Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Shirley Sisson. Dear uncle to many fabulous nieces and nephews.

Mike was a loving and caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling and metal detecting. He was always finding something interesting. He will be missed and loved by many.

Thank you to family and friends and numerous healthcare workers who supported me  through this difficult journey. Special heartfelt thank you to Amber Lee Johnson for her nursing and care.

Private Funeral Arrangements

Funeral arrangements are private. A Celebration Of Life is planned at a later date with the family. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
