We announce the passing of Mary Pearson on February 13, 2025, in her 98th year. She was the loving mother of daughter Jane and son John. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Pearson, and her four older siblings: James, Cecil, Walter, and Ethel. She spent most of her retirement years happily in Haliburton, residing in the town of Carnarvon. Mary enjoyed an active lifestyle, with one of her favourite pastimes being bid euchre on Friday evenings at Club 35. She was also a devoted member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church, where she made many dear friends. Mary loved baking and knitting, and she often invited friends over for dinner — evenings that usually ended with a game of cards. After moving to an assisted living home and later a long-term care home in Toronto, Mary continued to display her kind and gentle nature. She was greatly loved by the staff and those who cared for her.
