Mary Buchanan (nee Munro) Obituary

Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Friday morning, October 1, 2021 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Buchanan. Loving mother of Shirley (Billy Campbell). Fondly remembered by her granddaughter Angie Dawn (Deon) and by her great grandchildren Jaden and Toni Belle. Predeceased by her parents Robert & Mary Munro and by her brothers Bob, Don and Ross. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Also lovingly remembered by pets Bexley and Coby. Mary worked at the The Telegram and than went to work at The Toronto Sun for many years. She enjoyed helping her family and time spent with them.

Private Graveside Service

A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at St. John's Norway, Toronto. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #519 Coboconk would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35, Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913.
