Peacefully at Highland Wood Nursing Home in Haliburton on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Muir. Loving mother of Brian (Janice). Grandmother of Jennifer and Shannon and families. Predeceased by her brother Phil and her son David.
After finishing high school, Marjorie worked as a secretary at the Association of Professional Engineers. She married Bruce in 1950 and soon after began a long and successful career as an office manager at Tipco Inc. She enjoyed golf, curling, and taking long walks, and loved the companionship of their many dogs. Marjorie loved to socialize and if you became a friend of hers, you were a friend for life. She and Bruce enjoyed extensive world travelling with many friends.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Highland Wood long-term care for the compassionate care during her residency there.
Bruce and Marge's only wish was that remaining friends and family raise a glass and toast to their wonderful life together
