Marie Jessie Miller (nee Wilson)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Marie Miller, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. With her daughters and son-in-law by her side, Marie passed in Haliburton Hospital, on October 13, 2023. She was 71 years old. Marie’s long battle with diabetes and eventual amputations could easily have broken her, but pulling on her characteristic strength and resilience, she persevered through any and all setbacks with grace and dignity. Daughter of the late Glennie Margaret Brown and Ranford Elden Wilson, Marie is survived by her children, Glenn, Cynthia, and Anne-Marie, her grandchildren, Aliesha, Jayce, Jenson, and Amiyah, and her great-grandchildren, Soraya and Serenity.
Marie loved camping, bingo, reading, puzzles, playing cards, and dancing to any Alan Jackson song. But above all else, Marie’s favourite thing to do was spend time with family and friends.
Words will never convey how much her bright smile and naughty sense of humour will be missed.

May she finally rest in eternal peace.

Celebration of Life
