Louise McDonald Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise McDonald at Extendicare-Haliburton on Thursday afternoon, May 29, 2025, at the age of 83, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Dean McDonald, cherished mother to Lori (Dwaine Lloyd) of Haliburton and Sheila (Jerry Kunes) of Combermere. Louise was a devoted and much-loved Gramma to Graeme Lloyd, Austin Lloyd (Yazmin), Miranda Tomassetti (Pat), Amy Tomassetti, and Kyler Tomassetti (Jazmine). She was also a proud Great Gramma to Brennan, Madisyn, Savannah, Cameron, Molly, Alexia, and Jesse, and a Great Great Gramma to Alice. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Marilyn Beaumont, and was predeceased by her brothers Oliver and Keith Hillock. Louise’s warmth, kindness, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Celebration Of Life

Friends are invited to call at THE COMMUNITY ROOM, 13523 Hwy. #118 Haliburton, Ontario on Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Louise's memory can be made to Extendicare - Proud Pioneers or Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary.
