June "Eleanor" D'Auvernay

Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Haliburton Highlands Health Services on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in her 69th year. Known to everyone as “Eleanor.”

Born on July 31st, 1956, in Toronto. Eleanor was one of 6 children born to June Faith and Stuart D’Auvernay. Beloved sister of Bob and Brenda. Loving sister-in-law of John Christopher. Predeceased by her siblings, David, Elizabeth, and Paul. Eleanor will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the Haliburton Highlands Health Services for their attention and dedication to Eleanor’s care.

Private Funeral Arrangements

Funeral arrangements are private. As per Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Eleanor’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
