Joseph "Joe" Zahn

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph “Joe” Zahn, who left this world surrounded by his loved ones on January 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Joe was a one-of-a-kind husband to his wife Christine “Chris” Zahn, Father to Peter Zahn and Michael Zahn, Grandfather to Heather Hickling, Bradley LeBlanc and Ashley Zahn, Great Grandfather to Theodore LeBlanc, Yvonne Hickling and a dear friend to so many. Joe always knew how to fill a room with laughter and joy. He loved like no other and always took pride in caring for those around him. Joe was a family man who lived for the moments when we all came together. He shared his love for travel with his wife, adventuring to many different parts of the world throughout their time together. Many memories were made while doing his favourite things, being outside, listening to music, indulging in theatre, and of course, watching sports. His drive to work and providing for the ones he loved was like no other.

Celebration Of Life

A Celebration of Joe's life will be held at HALIBURTON CURLING CLUB 730 Mountain Street Haliburton, Ontario on Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. Family and Friends are invited to come together and celebrate the life that Joe led, the memories he shared and the laughter he brought. As an expression of sympathy, we invite you to make a donation to the Halliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation in Joe's memory.
