John Poyner

Peacefully at his residence on Saturday morning, December 30, 2023, in his 84th year. Loving father of Juliann, John Jr (Jay) and Lorne (Gabriella). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Justin, Jami, Jake, Grace, Felicity and Lorne. Dear brother of Cathy & Bob. Predeceased by his parents John & Anne Poyer, sisters Betty, Joan and brothers James & Thomas. Also lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and his best friend Terry. John owned and operated Jacks Contracting for many years. He enjoyed hunting & fishing and time spent with the kids.

Funeral arrangements are private. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or the Haliburton 4Cs Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
