Jason Scott Bertrand

After a short illness, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 55. Jason Bertrand, beloved son of Allan (Hank) and Lynne Bertrand of Haliburton. Dear brother of Collette Roberge (Paul Hamilton) of Janetville. Loved uncle of Dalton and Cody Roberge, special friend of Kelly Retter and cherished nephew of Ken. Dear nephew to Wilf and Janice Gliddon and cousin to Anna Gliddon.

Jason worked for 36 years as a crane operator - both mobile and tower. He retired to Haliburton June 1, 2024. He enjoyed golfing with his friend, Ron. He even took up curling. He was able to enjoy the outdoors, which he loved, until his passing. Jason was a free spirit. He was kind, generous, and loving. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation & Funeral Service

The family of Jason Bertrand will receive friends at the HALIBURTON UNITED CHURCH 10 George Street in Haliburton (corner of Pine Avenue and George Street) on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 12 noon, immediately followed by a Memorial Service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be arranged locally at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME  13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
