Howard Day

Surrounded by loved ones on September 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents Hilda and William Day. Howard will be remembered and missed by his partner Lynda, as well as his sister Sharron. Also remembered by his children Sandra, Darryl, and Melissa. Howard will be missed by his family, friends, and everyone he was able to form connections with throughout his life. 

Born in Toronto, Howard and Lynda moved to Highlands East around 35 years ago. Their homestead had been in Howard’s family since 1947. An Electronic Technician by trade, Howard decided to set aside his electrical skills for a handyman’s belt after he moved. Most people in the Highlands would know him for his handyman work, especially those in the Real Estate agencies in the area. Howard had a passion not only for working with his hands but also for bluegrass music and flying. 

Celebration of Life

As per Howard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209
