Heidi Bailey

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Heidi Bailey announces her passing after a brief illness on July 22nd, 2025, at the age of 88.

Heidi passed away peacefully at Highland Wood LTC in Haliburton and will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Bernard, Martin, Peter, Susan, and Sally, together with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Heidi was born in Vienna, Austria, on 3rd September 1936, where she grew up with her parents and brother Lutz. Heidi moved to England, where she brought up her young family whilst also holding down a full-time job as a warden in a sheltered housing complex for the elderly in Blandford St. Mary before retiring to Minden/Haliburton, where she spent her final years.

Heidi was quite a private person who didn’t live her life in the spotlight and wished to leave this world as she had lived it.

In accordance with her wishes, funeral arrangements are private. The family invite you to remember Heidi in your own way as she leaves this world. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 13523 Hwy. #118 Haliburton, ON. K0M 1S0 (705) 457-9209.
