Harvey Joseph Barnhart

Suddenly at his residence on Friday April 3, 2020 in his 84th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Audrey Barnhart (nee Harrison) for over 61 years. Loving father of Brian, Barry (Debbie) and Susan (Keith Thomas). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Mathew (Amanda), Kimberley (Steve), Carson (Shelley), Brittaney (Josh),Brandon and by his great grandchildren Rylan and Tayler. Dear brother of Bob (Sharon). Predeceased by his brothers William, Jack, Neil and by his sister Hilda. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Harvey was born in Emsdale, Ontario.  His family moved to Pine Springs when he was 10 years old, where he resided for the 73 years. Harvey worked at the Leslie M. Frost Centre for over 35 years.  He did a variety of jobs until he became the maintenance supervisor until his retirement. He loved to go camping, working in his workshop and out in the yard.  Harvey and his boys would do cottage maintenance for the seasonal residents in the area. He enjoyed having family and friends pop by for a visit and to talk about old times.

Visitation & Memorial Service

 A Celebration Of Harvey's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
