Eric Joseph Paquin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Joseph Paquin, who left us peacefully, surrounded by his family, on October 12, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Eric lived a life filled with laughter, love, and resilience.

Eric is lovingly remembered by his partner Alison Little and daughter Marissa, as well as his sons Michaël/Meek (Melissa), Maxime (Deloress), and Brandon Paquin. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to five cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his parents, Lucie Savage and Gillles Paquin, his brother Marcellin (Tracy), and his sister Maryse Paquin Muise (Tim).

Eric spent much of his career working on the drills, a testament to his hard work, determination, and strength of character. Outside of work, he found his greatest joys in fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors — the places where he felt most at peace.

Known by all as the life of the party, Eric had an infectious laugh and a spirit that could light up any room. He faced every challenge with humor and heart, never letting life get him down. Above all, he was an amazing father, partner, and friend — someone whose presence made life brighter for everyone around him. Forever loved, forever missed.

Celebration Of Life

A Celebration of Eric's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
