It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth “Irma” Hybsky on July 15, 2025, in her 77th year. Irma was the beloved wife of John “Edward” Hybsky and a devoted mother to Robert Edward Hybsky. She is also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Amanda Martha Lloyd-Hybsky. Her close-knit family will deeply feel the loss of her presence.
Irma lived a rich and fulfilling life. She found joy in knitting, reading, and reminiscing about her more than forty years of teaching—a career filled with stories and meaningful connections. She especially loved her adventures as a passenger on motorcycle rides with her husband, a pastime that brought her both thrill and laughter. Most of all, Irma cherished time spent with her family.
Her warmth, kindness, and radiant smile left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be profoundly missed.
Private Family Arrangements
A Private Family Service will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangments have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
