Eleanor Emmerson (nee Parish)

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a loving wife and mother. Eleanor Hazel Emmerson (nee Parish) passed away suddenly November 18th, 2024 surrounded by family. Daughter of Wesley and Hazel Parish (nee Thompson), beloved wife of Tom, Mother to Todd (Stephanie) and Joanne (Don), Grandmother to Shelby and Tom, sister to Allan (Judy), sister-in-law to Edward (Caroline), Wayne (Judy), Melissa (Colin), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was a wonderful artist who loved to laugh. She was also an avid gardener and loved her home. She deeply loved her husband of 62 years. She will be incredibly missed.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Gilmour and the wonderful staff at Haliburton Hospital for all their care and attention.

Private Family Service

As per the family's wishes, the family will honour Eleanor's life in a private celebration. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
