Elaine Purpura (nee Scott)

Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, May 25, 2022 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Barry Purpura. Loving mother of Scotty and Rod. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jason, Jenny, Lisa, Alina, and by her great grandchildren Caylee and Jesse. Predeceased by sister Shirley and brother Bert. Also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Elaine worked in a factory for many years. She enjoyed gardening, her time at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Haliburton and was a faithful participant. Most of all, she loved her family.

Visitation & Celebration Of Life

Friends are invited to call at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSESS  1017 Wigamog Road Minden, Ontario on Friday morning, June 10, 2022 for a Celebration of Elaine's life at 11 o'clock. (Visitation one hour prior). Interment later Maple Lake United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209 on. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Haliburton Highlands Health Services or to the Watch Tower Bible Tract Society would be appreciated by the family.
