Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Charlene Cross (2013). Loving father of Tammi (Mike Magee). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Emily (Tom), Patrick (Antonia) and Andrew (Molly). Fondly remembered by his great grandson Sam. Predeceased by son Terry (1993), his sisters Gloria and Jean. Also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Doug worked at Loblaws in Lindsay for over 55 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and most of all, his family.
Private Graveside Service
A Private Graveside Service will take place Bexley Cemetery in the Spring. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Coboconk Food Bank or the Summit Wellness Centre would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35, Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913.
