Obituary
It is with great sadness we say goodbye to a wonderful husband, father, stepdad, and grandpa. Doug passed peacefully on January 20th, 2023. He leaves behind his beloved wife and caregiver Germaine, and daughters Linda, Tallon, and Melanie (Neil). He will be missed by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his stepsons Ed and Paul. The last 23 years spent in Haliburton Highlands were some of his happiest times. Doug enjoyed playing darts and pool as well as a good game of golf. He cherished the friends he made.
Visitation & Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Doug's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy.#118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
