Doris "Lorna" Hayne

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Lorna. Lorna passed at Haliburton Hospital on Saturday morning, June 17, 2023, in her 88th year. Beloved partner of Robert "Bob", loving mother of daughters  Lesley (Shane) and Dawn (Karl). Adored  Nana of  Katrina (Zak) Adam and Erin. Lorna loved the Haliburton Highlands and had a home on Soyers Lake for many years. She was loving and generous, and for many years opened her own home to friends, family, and animals in need. She was passionate about life and made a huge difference in the lives of many. 

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Peterborough Humane Society or the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
