Donald Belbeck

Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Friday evening, July 15, 2022 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Nancy for over 24 years. Dear father of Jennifer and Jeffery. Stepdad to Michael. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Luke, Evan, Josh, Ryan, Olivia, Kaitlyn, Emily and Trinity. Brother of Janet (Harry) and David (Sandra).  Also remembered by his brother in laws George, Scott Weatherall & families and by  many nieces and nephews. Don was a man's man. He loved hunting, fishing and being out in the outdoors. He was a kind and gentle man who loved cutting wood, hearing a finely tuned chainsaw and cutting through logs made him happy. He loved the adventures of life from his time in Yellowknife to his Confectionary in Saskatchewan. Don was blessed to have thrown out the 1992 Season Opening Pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays. He enjoyed being surrounded by his grandchildren, teaching them everything he knew. Don would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it more than he did. He will be greatly missed by his furry friends, Sammy, Shadow, Snowball and Two Stroke.  

Celebration Of Life

A private Celebration of Don's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
