It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David on Thursday November 20, 2025. Beloved husband and soulmate of Sandra Anne McArthur. Predeceased by his parents Tom & Eileen Burton and Bill & Eva McCormick. Survived by his cousin Ed, Sandi McDavid, the McArthur family, his feline friend Francine and many friends and neighbours.
David was a well-known presence in the community, having lived on the family farm all his life. Besides his farming, he worked on the Trent Severn Waterway and also provided snow removal and grass cutting to many neighbours in the area. David was a very kind man and would do anything for anybody.
