It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corey Joseph Adams, who passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the age of 66. Corey was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the loving husband to Kathy, to whom he was married for over 40 years.
Born in Port Colborne to his parents Earl and Yvette Adams (both predeceased.) Corey is also predeceased by his sisters, Nancy Hale and Darlene Sorge, his brother-in-law Jim Sorge, and his nephew, Carmen Sorge. Corey was the beloved son-in-law to Stan and Eleanor Hiseler (predeceased.)
Corey is survived by his sister Lynne (Kevin) and his brother-in-law Bruce (Kathleen). Corey will be deeply missed by his brothers-in-law Mark (Marilyn) and Ross (Tracey) and his sister-in-law Anne (Rob.) Through his marriage to Kathy, he gained not only family but life-long friends.
His many nieces and nephews will miss him, including Jamie and Robin, Mark and Kelly, Matt and Leslie, Michelle, Adam and Diane, Laura and Joe, Lindsey and Phil, Chelsey and Alex, Zachary and Ashlee. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews, Blair (Sammy), Trevor, Paige (Greg), Sarah (Ryan), and his extended family and friends.
Corey had a zest for life that was evident in everything he did. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially boating and fishing, and spent countless hours on the water. A family-oriented man, Corey cherished his time with Kathy, his siblings, and his many nieces and nephews. He was also a passionate dog lover, and his pets brought him immense joy throughout his life.
His joy for life was contagious. He was a jokester with a gift for making others laugh. Corey also had an adventurous spirit. He often started a new hobby every month, whether it was learning new recipes or taking up a new craft. He enthusiastically embraced each interest.
Corey will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his ability to bring people together, and his deep love for his family. His warm heart, generosity, and humor will be sorely missed.
Corey’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. He will forever be missed and always remain in our hearts
