Passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 83rd year. Predeceased by husbands, Robert Heinze and Delmer Galvin; beloved mother of Brian Charles Rees (wife, BJ), Sheryl Ann Scott (husband, Wayne) and Susan Lynn Griffiths (husband, Paul). Ethel was the cherished grandmother of Alan Robert Griffiths and loving sister to the late Ernest Langley (Jackie), George Langley (Laraine), the late Phylis Mosher (Bruce) and the late Doris Weatherall (Shane).
Ethel was a life-long member and Past President of the United Church Women’s Fellowship as well as a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion and served as Past President of Br. 129 Haliburton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Rd. S., Peterborough beginning at 12p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1p.m. Interment will take place in Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
