It is with great sadness that the family of Bernice Elstone announce her passing at Haliburton Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, June 22, 2022 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of James "Jim" Elstone for over 57 years. Dear sister of Betty of Toronto. Fondly remembered by her nephews Richard and Robert (Linda), her great nephews Jonathan (Alyssa), Jeffrey (Gabrielle) and by her great great grand niece Delphine and great great grand nephew Luke. Predeceased by her sister Eileen Sisson. Bernice was a school teacher and taught for many years in the Haliburton Highlands.
Private Visitation & Family Memorial Service
A Private Family Memorial Service will take place. Interment later at St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Maple Lake. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School Scholarship and Bursary Fund would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
