Beatrice Hellewell (nee Daniels)

Beatrice, the beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Hellewell and her late first husband Vernon McCrea, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Hamilton on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in her 89th year. She is predeceased by her brother Arthur and sister Dorothy. The loving mother of Lynda Coady (Fred) of Brantford, Paul McCrea of Toronto, and predeceased by her son Michael McCrea (Judy) of Ancaster. She was the stepmother of Robert Hellewell (Coby) of Chilliwack BC and the late Cindy LaRose. She leaves her dear brother Walter (Gail) of Wardsville, and sister Marian Odorico (Reno) of Erin. Bea will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Daniel Shaw (Penny), Andrew McCrea, Timothy (Amy) McCrea, Christopher (Kristen) McCrea, Stacy (Levi) Jordaan, Shannon (Mike) Dyer, Jodie (Darcy) Kroes, Lanny Hellewell, Jamie (April) Hellewell, Deanna Hellewell, Robert Hellewell, Christopher (Roxanne) Hellewell, Darcy Hellewell, and Leanne Hellewell, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Beatrice“Bea” Hellewell (McCrea, nee Daniels) was born and spent most of her life in Haliburton Ontario.

Private Interment 

A private interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Haliburton, Ontario. In memory of Beatrice a donation to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
