Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Thursday morning, July 5, 2012 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Luella Hogan (nee Elliott). Loving father of Sandra and her husband John Hattin of Wilberforce. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Christine and Kimberly and great grandchildren Colin and Aidan. Dear brother of Leo, Viola, Julia, Marie and Luella. Predeceased by his brothers Bernard, Alphonse, Clem, Michael and Matthew James and his sisters Irene and Bridget. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Eward was a founder of Bicroft Mines. He was foremost a prospector, fisherman, carpenter and he enjoyed his family. Eward was always willing to share his carpentry skills.

JOHN VIANNEY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH Highland Grove for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning, July 7, 2012 at 10 o'clock. Interment South Wilberforce Cemetery.
