Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Manor on Monday, April 9, 2012 in her 103rd year after a long and happy life. Predeceased by her loving husband Allan. Lovingly remembered by her Daughter Anne (Dave Prentice). Elizabeth will be missed by her grandson's Stephen and Brock Spencer, as well as her step-grandson's Michael and Daniel Prentice and their families. Also by her great-grand children Daniel and Devin Tennier and Jessie Cull-Spencer. She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews. Elizabeth is predeceased by her grandson Scott. Her nursing career was highlighted when she was hired as the first nurse at the Uxbridge Hospital when it originally opened.

Friends may call at the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy #35 Coboconk, Ontario K0M 1K0 (705)454-3913 on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11 o'clock. A private family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
