At West Park Long Term Care Centre on March 2, 2010 in her 89th year. Beloved wife to the late John “Jack” DeYoung. Loving mother of John (Janice), Karen (Dave Rowe), Jan (Carl Godfrey) and Kathleen (David Neville). Loving grandmother “Nanny” to Jennifer, Michelle, Darcy, Julia, Leah, Elissa and Joel. Predeceased by her siblings Fran, Art and Ross.
Visitation & Funeral Service
Friends will be received at the WARD FUNERAL HOME, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 5th in the chapel at 11 am. with visitation from 10 am. Then to HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209 for visitation on Saturday, March 6th from 2-4 pm. Interment in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Haliburton.As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
