William  Rimmer

1924- 2010

After a courageous battle with cancer, Bill (“Bub”) passed away in his 86th year, surrounded by loved ones at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on Monday, March 1, 2010. Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie Ann (Ashton), parents William & Isabella (Morris), brothers Ralph, Gordon and his sister Florence Christie. Loving Father of Jacqueline (Keith Clarkson) of New Jersey, Jeff (Pam) of Newmarket, Natalie (Chris Hempstead) of Courtice and Greg of Erin. Devoted Poppa to Elaine (Paul), Sharon, Jeffery, Kent (Anna), Eric & Elisabeth and all his granddogs and grandcats. “BUB” will be lovingly remembered by in-laws, Jane, Ralph, and Louise, many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Sunnybrook Veterans Centre and the K2C staff for their exemplary care and attention during the last several months.

Celebration Of Life

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705)457-9209 on Saturday May 29th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment later St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Maple Lake.
